Big Names Touring in Los Angeles in July 07
July 07 has been proving to be a blockbuster in music names and entertainers. We have the oldies, rock stars, pop stars, and phenomenal art/theatre events.
The week starting July 23, the American Idol finalists are coming to Staples center. The first American Idol champ was supposed to perform in Los Angeles too but cancelled her summer tour due to low-ticket sales and some rumored management shake-up.
Then 60’s rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd will be performing at Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa then at the Greek theatre. Other big 60’s rock classic names coming this week are Bob Dylan (not to be missed if you’re a big fan!) and KISS. Talk about Classics!
If you want to reminisce about your time in the 80’s, go see Heart and the Bangles (performing together) and Tears for Fears at Costa Mesa’s Pacific Amphitheatre. The country crooner Lyle Lovett is partnering up with K.D. Lang at the Greek theatre.

Speaking of country… Martina Mcbride, Leann Rimes, Buffalo Tom are also coming.
On other event categories – Pageant of the Masters is a real experience not to miss (at least do it once!). Performers on stage reenact art works/paintings. Reviews have always been phenomenal and the event has been going on for over 50 years (started in 1935). Tickets get sold out very fast so chances are you will have to buy good seats from brokers.
