Free Antivirus In New Stronger Version
Release 8.5 of AVG pay version and free version of their antivirus software is on the market now.
The next release called 8.5 is now ready from the security company AVG. Both a commercial purchase beta version of the software as well as a free version with less functionality is made available to the users now.
AVG is one of the major antivirus companies offering a solid software to the users. The software has been known not to take to much of the computer resources.
AVG ISS 8.5 and AVG Free 8.5 gives access to their active search and active Surf technologies. These technologies will make web surfing safer by collection of malicious web site information from a updated database. There will also be support for filtering of incoming traffic.
There is also implemented a protection system based on the user behaviour pattern of 80 million AVG users around the world which is combined with technology purchased from Sana security. AVG has called this functionality for AVG Identity Protection and is behavior based. This will come as an additional layer of protection on top of the database of malicious web sites and harmful software, or so called malware.

According to AVG this will protect your computer from being hacked for passwords, log in information to bank services and tapping of credit card numbers. As soon as AVG Identity Protection discovers any suspicious behavior in your computer, it will shut down that process immediately. This functionality will only be available in the purchased version of AVG and not in the free version. Free version users can upgrade their software to paid version for 19 USD.
