Chess! One Night in Bangkok! Did you know that Murray Head is the brother of Anthony Stewart Head of Buffy the Vampire fame? Love it!

@Kendra: Bye Bye Bird is so cute! I bought on eBay last week the version of 1995, I’m looking forward to watching it!

@Bonne: My Fair Lady will be always my favourite musical ever!

@Irayholy: Kiss Me Kate is great! I love Cole Porter’s music.

@Doug S:
Really!? I didn’t know about that. I love Chess too, this musical has the best music score, it’s perfect! But I hate the Broadway version because they changed a lot the plot and songs, the best version will always be the one from London, I love Elaine Paige and she’s great in it.

I have a record album of chess and other than "One Night In Bangkok" I wasn’t really into the rest of it. Is it actually a good musical?

@craig1black: One Night In Bangkok in my opinion is the weakest song of the entire musical. Although the story is a little bit complicated and sometimes boring, Chess is beautiful, sad and powerful, it always brings me to tears at the end. The Broadway version is awful (it was a total flop, closed after 8 weeks), they changed a lot the plot and added new songs. The best version will always be the London Recording. For the next year it’ll have a Broadway revival, I’m looking foward to watching it!

Wow! That might be interesting to go see the revival, then.

I’m a musical fan though I don’t get to see too many. I particularly love Les Mis. A small production of Hair opened up around the corner from my place and I saw it twice and Jeff went to see it 3 times. We would have gone more but it was a short run. I think my neighbor saw it 5 times!

I admit that I own 5 or 6 soundtracks of various and then a few LP’s as well. (Like Chess and Westside Story)

@craig1black: I love West Side Story too, the songs are so beautiful. I like Hair too, it must be very nice to see it on stage.
