Tim McGraw Tickets ? McGraw, Hill Lead Force for Nashville Benefit Concert

Country music power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have more than a few collaborative efforts in their respective musical repertoires, but the husband-and-wife duo are always looking for more. McGraw and Hill can often be found at the same social galas and events, and the two Nashville icons have recently spearheaded an evening of country music performances as a benefit concert for victims of the Nashville floods in early May.

Dubbed “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery,” the McGraw/Hill-led June 22 benefit concert has taken shape and will feature some of today’s most popular artists as they make their way to Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. Aside from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, the evening’s co-hosts, the Nashville Rising event will also feature vocal heavyweights Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Amy Grant, Miley Cyrus, Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, Michael W. Smith, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Luke Bryan all as performers.

The Nashville Rising benefit concert in late June will donate proceeds to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and its flood relief efforts. In a joint statement to the press, McGraw and Hill said, “The damage that we’ve seen to people’s homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable. But we’ve seen the spirit of our community firsthand, as volunteers, church groups and our local business leaders rally to help.”

Promoting next month’s Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery, McGraw and Hill stated, “We all need to continue to support those in need in any way that we can, and for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes who collectively will make June 22 a truly special night.”

Tim McGraw and wife Faith Hill quickly put a plan in place for a benefit concert in Nashville following the devastating floods that left most of the city underwater in early May, even despite McGraw’s current hectic schedule on his Southern Voice Tour. The “Still” vocalist kept all tour dates around the country during the month of May as his family and friends in Nashville dealt with losses from flooding, and he’s still selling <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’, ‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’]);” href=”http://www.stubhub.com/tim-mcgraw-tickets/”>Tim McGraw tickets</a> to several stops along the tour for the rest of this  spring and summer.

McGraw has cleared room in his very busy touring itinerary to co-host the Nashville Rising benefit concert on June 22, and now he’ll perform in his native Nashville just two days before heading out on a music festival extravaganza, playing in Wisconsin for the Summerfest in Milwaukee (June 24) and Country Fest in Cadott (June 25) before jetting to Chicago the next night for a performance at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre.

Tim McGraw’s dedication to Nashville and country music often go hand-in-hand, and it’s this formula of drive and determination that first scored him a place in the music industry in the 1990s. McGraw arrived in Nashville in the early ’90s and hit it big with the single “Indian Outlaw” in 1994, and the name Tim McGraw has been synonymous with contemporary country music success ever since.

Soul-searching songs have been Tim McGraw’s claim to fame for years, and singles such as “One of These Days,” “Please Remember Me,” “Don’t Take the Girl,” “Red Ragtop,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Still” have all become staples in his repertoire over the last several years. McGraw’s signature sly smile, gruff facial stubble and tight black T-shirt have made the countrified cowboy known ’round the world over the last two decades, and Tim McGraw’s recent efforts to help Nashville in a time of crisis only further exemplify the country crooner’s mainstay status in Music City.
