Sailors from the Japanese Navy ship Muroto quietly pay respect as they help clean up the Pacific Peace Memorial Park on Sept. 17. According to Aoki Kazu, South Pacific Memorial Association director, this is something the sailors do every year as part of their three-month stay in Guam. It’s something the ship has been doing for more than a decade.
