About Samoa
Samoa, or the Independent State of Samoa, to give the country its official name, is a country located off the North West coast of Australia. It is a part of the Samoan Islands archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean.

Going for a surfing holiday but don’t know what to do there? Need help choosing the right surfboard? Although surfing is a very fun filled activity and does seem quite easy to do when seen from afar, you need to keep some important points in mind before you hit the waves. Not following due precautions can be potentially dangerous in surfing and as you are riding huge waves, it is advisable to be very careful while surfing.

As is the case with most Polynesian tribes, there customs and rituals seemed strange to the Western eyes and their cannibalism fascinated their sense of the macabre. Man has always enjoyed grappling with and subduing the forces of nature. In most cases, such an encounter with the full force of rampaging nature leads to total destruction and chaos for humans, such as in the case of hurricanes and tsunamis. In some cases however, man has actually been able to control nature and use it for his own enjoyment and recreation; the prime example of this being surfing.
