This includes Lagoon Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Snorkeling, Cycling, Golf, Tennis, Boat Cruises and glass bottomed boats, Scenic flights to name but a few. Eating and drinking at the Capella Lodge is yet another reason to stay. The Capella Restaurant has stunning views of the lagoon and the mountains. The menus are contemporary and the quality is of the highest order. The service just adds to the atmosphere and this has to be the best restaurant on Lord Howe Island. What is even better is that the price includes not only the wonderful meals but also best quality wines.
In fact the staff at the Capella Lodge are of the very best, from remembering guests names, and they have an uncanny knack of seeming to anticipate what you want accurately time after time.
If you want to sit in the best place to see the sunset over the South Pacific then Gower’s Terrace is it. There is a relaxation area with a wet edge infinity plunge pool as a bonus.
