The CCleaner program can be downloaded over the Internet. It offers free full registry maintenance service. The latest version of this program was further enhanced to accommodate 64-bit operating system from Microsoft such as Windows &, Windows Vista and Windows XP. It is also equipped with an optimized registry scan and repair tool, which allows this program to run thorough scan faster.

 

Like any good registry software, it also features a registry back-up function. This feature saves the computer’s last known good configuration. It is an essential part of registry editing process. The back up will restore the computer to its original state in case something wrong happens.

 

The user interface of this program has three major divisions. The first division provides you with clean up type option. The second division reveals the registry details where you can choose which entries to delete. The files that you chose to delete will reflect on the third division. The third division analyzes the editing process and will show the deleted files after you run the cleaner function.   ‘

 

Additional feature such as uninstall program and start up program management are also packaged with this application. The uninstall program helps facilitate the process of uninstalling various programs to eliminate possible errors from this process. The start up management program on the other hand allows the user to choose which programs he wishes to execute upon computer’s start up. This way the computer would be able to boot immediately once the start up programs were properly facilitated.

 

This software may not cover all third-party application programs, but it is more than good enough to give you the basic functions of registry software. The version upgrade and update of this program are also free.

Nanuya Resort Yasawa Island Fiji Is An Elegant Small Beach Hotel

Nanuya Resort Yasawa Island Fiji is situated on the Blue Lagoon, and we stayed there just after a week at the Octopus resort.

We thought Nanuva was one of the most elegant small beach hotels we have stayed in as far as the South Pacific is concerned.
What really impressed us during our stay was the small touches, such as the plug in insect repellents in the room, especially as we had left ours at home!!
Another thing we love are nice toiletries in our room, and we were not disappointed at Nanuya, as the bures were modern, well equipped with ensuite facilities, towels, in fact all you would expect from a good resort. This of course included towels for the beach, and free water, which you can get from the bar.

The resort had everything needed for a great vacation, starting with the open air restaurant, serving superb food, and big platefuls. Fiji is not noted for its cuisine, but the food at Nanuya is delicious, with a simple continental breakfast to start the day. The breakfast is included, and then the menu for lunch is always the same, but the food is so good, you’ll have no difficulty finding something you like every day. The dinner menu changes daily, and there is a good selection of starters and main courses for you to look forward to.

The biggest drawback was the invasion of backpacking daytrippers, who arrived on the beach, took the sunbeds, used the internet, and generally turned one of the best elegant small beach hotels that is Nanuya into a rugby scrum. Fortunately this only happened once, and we were mercifully free from too many daytrippers.

The beach as you would expect is quite out of this world, everything a South pacific beach should be, with wonderful blue/turquoise/green shades, and it was possible to swim out a little way for some quite good snorkelling.

Nanuya Resort is very well staffed, by cheerful smiling helpful people, who were never too obtrusive.

We’d definitely visit again, but next time we’d use Turtle airways and fly, turning a four and a half hour transfer into 30 minutes, so well worth the money!!
Nanuya Resort gave us one of the best tropical beach vacations possible

Amongst the most famous games produced by the also famous Valve Corporation we find the one called counterstrike source which was supposed to be a modification to the half-life game. Just like all of the Valve’s games this is also a first-person shooter which puts the player right in the middle of the action.

Unlike Half-Life where the player has a golf against all sorts of aliens as well as undead creatures or team Fortress were the player joined hands with the rest of his team in order to defeat the other, Counter-Strike source takes the game to a whole new level by matching an antiterrorist group against a terrorist cell.

This game is played in missions for instance, the player may be asked to detonate a bomb and release hostages or the players may also be asked to eliminate a terrorist cell. This game is a complete remake which takes full advantage of Valve’s source engine, instead of using a port which leads to additional content.

Since the player is placed as an antiterrorist soldier the characteristic features of the weapons change accordingly, the source version features an improved radar which features a green-HUD translucent mini map which shows a lot more details compared to the previous version.

Counterstrike Source Hacks:

A Vac2 hacks has been released which offer players many advantages such as: an aimbot, a prediction system, silent aim, autoshoot, anti spawn protection so that the player wont shoot against spawn-protected players, vector adjustments, aim point, FOV and even a feature which allows you to aim at your own team.

This hacks are mostly distributed as executables inside a zip file which is why it is strongly recommended for those who download such content to run it through an antivirus program before unzipping it and executing it.

Nauru is a small island in the South Pacific Ocean, south of the Marshall Islands and is the worlds smallest independent republic. Although other island states may be smaller and or less populous, they are all dependent territories of other countries.

The smallest republic in the world, with a single island of just 21 sq km. Therefore this page is also very small but well elaborated.

Nauru achieved independence in 1968 and joined the UN in 1999.Revenues of the island have come from exports of phosphates, but reserves are nearing exhaustion in 2005. Since few other resources exist Nauru relies on imports for almost everything, mainly from Australia, the islands former occupier and later major source of support. In 2001 Nauru signed an agreement with Australia to accommodate more than 1000 asylum seekers on the island, in return for millions of dollars in aid.

Nauru, the worlds smallest republic, is an oval shaped outcrop, situated in the Central Pacific west of Kiribati, surrounded by a reef which is exposed at low tide. Although there is no deepwater harbour on the island, offshore moorings are reputedly the deepest in the world.

A century of phosphate mining has stripped four fifths of the land area, and has left the central plateau, which rises to 56m, infertile and unpopulated: a barren terrain of jagged coral pinnacles which stand 15m high. The island has a fertile coastal strip 150 to 300m wide, where there are coconut palms and indigenous hardwoods. On the land surrounding lagoon, bananas, pineapples and some vegetables are grown. Some secondary vegetation grows over the coral pinnacles which intersperse the islands beaches.

Revenues of this tiny island have traditionally come from exports of phosphates, but reserves are now depleted. Few other resources exist with most necessities being imported, mainly from Australia, its former occupier and later major source of support. The rehabilitation of mined land and the replacement of income from phosphates are serious long term problems.

In anticipation of the exhaustion of Naurus phosphate deposits, substantial amounts of phosphate income have been invested in trust funds to help cushion the transition and provide for Naurus economic future. As a result of heavy spending from the trust funds, the government faces virtual bankruptcy. To cut costs the government has called for a freeze on wages, a reduction of over staffed public service departments, privatisation of numerous government agencies, and closure of some overseas consulates.

In recent years Nauru has encouraged the registration of offshore banks and corporations. In 2004 the deterioration in housing, hospitals, and other capital plant continued, and the cost to Australia of keeping the government and economy afloat has substantially mounted. Few comprehensive statistics on the Nauru economy exist, with estimates of Naurus GDP varying widely.

Tahiti is south of the Equator, mid way between Los Angeles California, and Sydney Australia. It is in the same time zone as Hawaii.

The main languages spoken through French Polynesia are Tahitian and French.

You will find in the hotels and restaurants that English is spoken, however the local people do appreciate it when their guests at least make an attempt to learn a few of their words. They are very willing to teach anyone who is willing to learn, and they will do it with lots of smiles and big laughs.

In terms of entry requirements to French Polynesia, every visitor must have a return airline ticket to their home country or at least two more following destinations. In addition if required they must show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves in French Polynesia.

For most visitors, who are tourists, you will need a passport that has six months to run, except US, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealanders where three months is sufficient.

The only exceptions to this, where visas are obligatory are tourists from Israel, Brazil, Venezuela, and Panama. In some other cases visas are required for stays of over one month, and in other cases over three months. To be safe you should make enquiries from your travel agent, or the French Consular office in your country. Always bear in mind that entry requirements are subject to change without notice, and it is the passenger’s responsibility to make sure that all documents needed are complete and current.

There are few health requirements for French Polynesia, and it is not a malaria area, but you should ensure your vaccination program is up to date, ensuring you visit your doctor at least five weeks before travelling. You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance before leaving home.There are some outbreaks of dengue fever in Tahiti, so don’t travel without Deet, or some other mosquito repellent, and cover up at dawn and dusk.

The Law in French Polynesia is French law, so be aware that it is a criminal offence if you fail to offer assistance to a person in danger. This includes motor accidents, and any other occasion when a person is in danger, except if you would endanger yourself by offering assistance. If guilty you could be fined or be given a suspended prison sentence.

You must carry your passport at all times.

There are no sales taxes or hidden service charges in French Polynesia.

The currency is the Pacific French Franc[CFP], but bring traveller’s cheques rather than cash. Amex, Mastercard, and Visa are all accepted at all major establishments.

Finally prepare yourself for high costs as French Polynesia is 30 to 50% more expensive than most of the rest of the South Pacific

Europe in the Early Middle Ages – Migrations, Invasions and Kingdoms

Europe in the Early Middle Ages was marked by large scale migrations and invasions that resulted in establishment of new political units on the territory of the former Western Roman Empire. The Germanic peoples mostly settled in Western, Central and Southern Europe by the end of the 5th century where they established their own kingdoms. Most of them were short-lived except for the Carolingian Empire that absorbed virtually all the remaining Germanic kingdoms in Western and Central Europe by the end of the 8th century.

Migration of the Germanic peoples was followed by the arrival of the Slavic peoples who settled in Eastern Europe, part of Central Europe and the Balkans. However, the majority of the early medieval Slavic states was short-lived as well. They were either conquered by the Carolingian Empire / Holy Roman Empire or the Byzantine Empire.

Early medieval Europe also saw the arrival of the Avars and Bulgarians in the 6th century. The Avars settled in the Pannonian Basin in the mid-6th century (their state was destroyed by the Franks in 803), while the Bulgarians settled in the Eastern Balkan and established an empire in 680.

Following the conquest of North Africa, the Muslims crossed the strait of Gibraltar and invaded the Iberian Peninsula. They conquered the Visigothic Kingdom by 718 when they crossed the Pyrenees. Muslim forces were decisively defeated by the Franks in the Battle of Tours in 732 which marked the end of the Muslim advance in Western Europe. However, the Muslim conquests in Europe did not cease with the Battle of Tours. The Saracens captured Sicily and a part of Southern Italy from the Byzantine Empire in the mid-9th century and threatened Northern Italy and southern France.

At the end of the 9th century, Europe saw the arrival of Hungarians who seriously threatened Central Europe until the mid-10th century when they were decisively defeated by Otto the Great. By the end of the Middle Ages, the Hungarians permanently settled in the Pannonian Basin and adopted the European culture and political organization.

While the Central Europe was threatened by the Hungarians, the Western Europe was seriously endangered by the Vikings. In order to put an end to the Viking threat, King of East Francia Charles the Simple gave the Vikings what is today Normandy as a fief in the early 10th century.

The Viking invasions were also a serious threat to the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms in Great Britain which were unable to withstand the invaders. The Vikings started to settle in England by the mid-9th century and established an independent settlement – Danelaw.

The majority of early medieval kingdoms collapsed during the Early Middle Ages including the strongest of all – the Carolingian Empire. The realm of the Franks under the Carolingian dynasty started to decline after death of Charlemagne in 814 and split into three kingdoms in 843.

Costa Rica is a true paradise on earth with hundreds of miles of white sand beaches and swaying palms, dense tropical forests rich in wildlife and lakes, rivers and streams abound. Costa Rica is reputed to have the happiest people on the planet; it is above any country in environment awareness and boasts one of the highest standards of living on earth. Costa Rica shares borders with Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south with coasts on the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

For decades, Costa Rica has been a top choice destination for expatriates, retirees, adventurers and families to reside and live the good life. Costa Rica is also one of the major travel destinations on earth and thousands of visitors arrive each year to behold the many treasures the country has to offer. There are many direct flights from major hubs into San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica and a network of commuter flights to all the provinces of the country.

Visitors to Costa Rica have varied and diverse interests; some come for the excellent scuba diving, others to sport fish. There are families on summer vacations, outdoorsmen and women exploring the wilderness and Costa Rica is a Valhalla for weddings and honeymoon vacation packages. With its many offerings, it is sometimes hard to decide where to go and where to stay.

The Guanacaste region on the north Pacific coast has seen a huge growth in tourism and has developed the area remarkably. Tamarindo is the hub for excellent accommodations with bed and breakfasts, condos, luxury resorts and budget lodging, great dining and a plethora of aquatic activities. Tamarindo offers some of the best sportfishing on earth and there are many dive sites.

The south Pacific region is a surfer’s paradise for beginners and experts alike, with beach, reef and river breaks and there are many jumping off spots to the interior. Along with resort beach accommodations there are jungle lodges, tent camps and inns. The area hosts national parks and biological reserves and trips into the rainforest are an unequaled experience.

The Caribbean side is less developed than the Pacific and has a tropical flair. The gin clear waters and coral reefs draw a handful of adventurers for the outrageous scuba diving, snorkeling and warm water sportfishing. Accommodations are less plentiful but the online hotels, lodges, bungalows and inns are well appointed and offer excellent service
